The hull is a deep V with a central keel for better stability and maneuverability during operations. There are four watertight compartments. All is built in FRP. The molded hull is totally hand built in FRP with vinyl ester resin CORVE 8121, which is approved by Lloyds and with resistant corrosion properties, and high resistivity of heat distortion. Established in 1996, Izmir Shipyard is a builder with a focus on small to medium size vessels of HDPE construction. Stock designs include patrol boats, pilot boats, workboats, and utility crafts for commercial and public customers. Over 50 vessels have already been delivered and SeaBoats are proud to market them all over the world. The shipyard has invested heavily on HDPE technology and can now deliver any of the stock boats in just a few weeks from order. Moreover , HDPE can offer a number of advantages : unsinkability, long life (no corrosion of any kind), shock absorbing, resistance to marine growth (no bottom painting required). IZ 1300 is available in Patrol Boat or Pilot Boat configurations. Classified by RINa (or Turkish Loyd) the vessel has a build time of just 16 weeks. Combining a high freeboard forward and low aft platform, this innovative design allows patrol or pilot work to be carried out in a very safe and comfortable manner. This HDPE vessel was designed to carry heavy cargo and operational equipment on the aft cockpit while also having a comfortable cabin arrangements for long term operations. ALAMAR 42 is the new generation of PILOT boats designed with a Wave Piercing bulbous bow and deep “V”. This hull design increases the speed, reduce the fuel consumption and improve the seakeeping. This allows to new ALAMAR 42 works in rough sea conditions with a high cruising speed and comfort for the crew. As always, ALAMAR Shipyard works with tailor made system. This allows the owner to choose his best arrangement. Always working with 3D models and Virtual Reality designs, the owner will be in his boat before the building start. Manufacturing of the hull is totally made in GRP, with a deep "V" shape with a wave piercing bulbous bow. The vessel has three longitudinal spray rails from bow to stern which finish with two tunnels for housings propellers and rudders.

This proven design was developed as a Patrol vessel, Pilot boat or Fisheries control, to work on a variety of maritime environments. Thanks to its jet driven propulsion she can sail as fast as 36 knots and can also be employed in shallow waters or challenging conditions. With foam filled HDPE fendering tubes and a hull comprising 6 watertight sections, IZ 1600 is absolutely unsinkable and extremely safe. Standard power is 2 x IVECO C13ENT diesel engines. The design was developed by Cheoy Lee’s design office as a fast 15m launch for the Hong Kong Fire Services department. Following that over 30 units have been built with slightly varying lengths as a harbour launch. This hull is now used for the new generation of Pilot Launches as the size and performance has proven a huge success. A well proven design with some recent laminate changes to achieve better laminate weight and increased performance.
