RAport 2400 ASD Tug built to order, with the ability to customise the tug to suit your particular requirements. Compact and manoeuvrable , these high powered tugs with 60 tonne bollard pull and FiFi 1 are well suited to berthing and un-berthing today's large ships, and have been developed uniquely for harbour and port operations.
The vessels to be RAport 2400 design by Robert Allan Ltd and to be built to Lloyd’s Register classification with notation +100A1 Tug, Fire Fighting Ship 1 *IWS, + LMC, UMS for restricted service. Twin Screw Azimuth Stern Drive Terminal / Assist Tug having approximate dimensions of 25.20m LOA x 12.00m Beam (mld) x 4.31 Depth (mld) x 4.20m Draft (max).
The propulsion machinery to comprise of two Caterpillar 3516C marine diesel engines each rated at 1771kW (2375 bhp) at 1600 rpm coupled to Rolls Royce US 205 P20 FP azimuth thrusters driving fixed pitch propellers, providing a continuous bollard pull ahead of 60 tonnes with the main engines developing 100% power.
Electricity supply of 400 VAC/3-ph/50Hz to be provided by two Caterpillar C4.4 diesel engine driven generating sets of 86 ekW output each running in parallel
Hydraulic deck machinery to comprise one gypsy anchor windlass forward, one single warping head single split drum render / recovery towing winch forward of 30/5 tonnes pull at 10/40 m/min, drum capacities of 2 x 150m x 76mm UHMWPE synthetic hawser and brake force of 150 tonnes and one disc type towing hook of 60 tonnes SWL, all supplied by MacGregor.
Sleeping and messing accommodation to be provided for a crew of 6 in 2-berth cabins below decks. Air- conditioning to be provided throughout.
